Heikki phoned bee-keepers who came and moved the queen to a hive they had brought with them. The bees were given a couple of weeks to settle down in their new home.
The hive was just removed and taken to a new location where the bees will be used for honey production.
We'll now need to remove the old tree trunk from the garden as other bees will move in in no time if it stays there.
