We have a nice collection of Finns living in and around Cape Town. Heikki has organised an e-mail group for us so we can all easily keep in touch.
We invited our new and old friends to our house tonight for a braai (BBQ), pikkujoulut and India's birthday party. We'd been planning to postpone the party until after the roof was done, but got fed up with waiting for it to be completed. At least the scaffoldings have been taken down.
It was also James's last day here today, so many of Milja and Dan's friends came over to say "Bye". We were all sad to see him go.
We had a braai and enjoyed the lovely sun in the garden. We heated up the sauna, too.
India had a wonderful time with Sheylen, Jesse's son. They're about the same age. Perfect for eachother at the moment.
