Joyce is our resource for a lot of things. Besides being the best maid anyone could ask for, she is also a source of information.
We turn to her when we need to find out the weather, about local news, who to hire for odd jobs around the house, and when we need to locate something we've lost.
She is also a very resourceful woman.
Milja, Dan and James bought a Christmas tree yesterday. Matias located the decorations in the cellar, but he couldn't find the foot of the tree (where the tree is put to stand).
I tried to find one in the shops and so did Milja. Meanwhile, the tree was standing in an old ice-cream tub and leaning against a wall.
Joyce took a bucket, bricks, sand and kitchen foil. Voila - the tree stands sturdily in the corner of the sitting room in a nicely decorated bucket.
