Party for India

With the builders finally off the site, we felt that India needed the party she did not have when she turned three a few weeks ago. We invited her class mates from creche and a few other friends. About half were already on holiday or could not come for some other reason.

The party was on the newly cleared and mowed front lawn. There was a trampoline, a bouncy castle cum slide, kiddies swimming pool, a blanket with a train set and a sand pit. Dozen kids ran around and the adults stayed by the table and made sure no-one got hurt.

The trees gave shade from the wind and overcast sky in the morning turned blue by the afternoon. We had feared for a cold day but it was almost hot.

The activities available went down quite well and we had no problem keeping the kids busy for two hour duration of the party. I think everyone was quite pleased how well it all went.
