We got the keys

This afternoon, at 4 PM, we met up with the estate agents and the manager of the house that we've bought in Hout Bay.

The manager took us around the garden and the house, showing Heikki every detail he could think of: where the different keys are, how the sprinkler system works, how the electric fence works, how the movement sensors work, etc.

Meanwhile, I went around with Matias and little India, who was in a bad mood (she was getting ill).

Now that the house is empty, it looks wonderful inside. We've made all the plans for moving walls etc. inside, and now it doesn't seem to need anything done to it. It's amazing how much wrong kind of and wrongly placed furniture does to a house.

We're still going ahead with our plans. We're starting with the roof, which will hopefully come off soon.

We still don't have the house in our name, but at least we have they keys and permission to move in.
