Domestic help

We started off having Joyce come and help us once a week. We didin't really think we needed help, but wanted to offer someone a job.

Gradually, Joyce's working days have increased from one to two to three days a week. And now, since the beginning of the month, she's been working for us full time.

And boy have we needed her! Especially since we moved this month.

The plan is, that once our new Finnish friends settle down, Joyce will go and work for them twice a week. We'll then have her here for only 3 days a week.

The downside of having someone work for you full time is, that you're responsible alone. I worry. We are now the only source of money for the whole of their family, as her husband is out of a job at the moment.
