Our beautiful house

We spent the morning at the new house.

The security company came and did some checking and modifications to the security system. They'll come again once our phoneline has been changed, and do some additional modifications.

The roof people came, too, and we signed a contract with them. They'll start in the beginning of September and should finish near the end of October. That's longer than what was in the original plans, but then again they'll be doing more than what they originally thought they'd do.

In the end, we decided they'd take the whole roof off, including all the existing structures. They'll leave the floorboards, the water cylinders and what's in the bathroom, but that's about it. Everything else is going.

The end result will be beautiful.
