We were told last week that the exchange date of the sale of our UK house was planned for the 16th of October. So no hurry with anything.
Last night I got two frantic e-mails from two estate agents: those selling our house and those selling our buyer's house.
Seems that the exchange of the contracts is planned for TODAY and the final sale date is now the 27th of the month.
The sale contract is somewhere on the way from South Africa to the UK. Not carried by a curier, as we were told there was no hurry and sending it via normal post would be fine.
