The roofers phoned us this morning to let me know a lorry with roof poles was on the way to our house. It would arrive within the hour. This was totally out of the blue.
It was lucky (?) that I'd had an insidence with a tooth. I had to stay home today so I could see a dentist, and so I was here when the poles arrived.
The round, wooden poles are now piled in our garden. On top of my new, little avocado plant.
