We've just been told by the rental agents, that we can not renew our lease, and we'll have to move out off here in a month's time. The owners are looking to sell this place.
We're not yet sure of what we'll do now.
There are three locations that we need to take into consideration: India goes to the creche here. Matias' school is 20km away south-east. Heikki's (and soon my) work is 40 km away north-east.
Ideally, we'd move to a house of our own. But we haven't sold our house in the UK. We do have a buyer, but nothing is happening at the moment. And once we get the money over here and make an offer here, it'll be another 3 months before the sale is complete.
It might be an option to rent the house we stayed at when we first came over to Cape Town. We could not stay there then, as they had another booking. The owners are lovely, and the house is huge. And it's less than we pay for this house. The place is quite close to Matias's school.
