I'd just like to take this opportunity to tell everyone that our maid Joyce is an absolutely wonderful person :)
Before we went to England we told Joyce she deserved holiday, and that we'd pay her salary even though she didn't work while we were gone.
Today was our turn to get a surprise treat. Joyce insisted on coming to our house on her day off to take care of our laundry-pile.
