Christmas resuscitation

We were invited to a wonderful party in Tygervalley on Christmas day's night. It was in the house of one of the Red Cross people we met when on the educational HIV field trip. He was such an excellent host and his whole family was welcoming (no wonder they've been on some ambassadorial post before). We had wine & champagne while listening to music and smalltalking with the other guests in the garden. The sun had gone down some hours ago, but it was still pleasantly warm even in a sleevless top. The crickets were making this lovely sound in the background. The hosts had made a wonderful meal, too, even for us vegetarians.
