Beach bumming again

A day out of the surf did good to our aching muscles and we were ready for more. A quick trip to shops provided us with fresh fruit and cold drinks, as well as a sun protection tent and neoprene gloves for Minna.

We got to the Llandudno beach after 10 o'clock and Seija and Joona a bit later. This time, the waves were a bit smaller but body boarding was fun all the same.

The tent made life on the beach easier, although the wind kept blowing sand from different directions into the tent and the high tide reached further in to the shore than last time, almost flooding the tent.

Seija did her miracle again and got India to fall asleep on her lap. The tent proved its value by giving India the shade to sleep in.

Afterwards, Seija took the boys for a pizza and then into her home where they swam in the pool and jacuzzi till late night. We came there after five o'clock once we've had washed up the gear, had a quick swim in our pool and had good shower to wash away all the salt. We sat on the patio sipping vine and tea and eating gorgeous Finnish "korvapuusti" buns until sun set behind the Little Lion's Head mountain top.

Everyone agreed again how remarkable it is that one can be totally exhausted after a day of doing nothing.
