Namibia

We're planning a trip to Namibia during school holidays.

Here are the main things I was thinking we could do:
  • Fish River Canyon is the second largest canyon in the world.
  • Spotting some wild horses as we drive to the coast.
  • A visit to a coastal town of Luederitz, and to a ghost town nearby. I saw a programme of this town years ago, and haven't been able to forget how it looked. I hope I get to see it now for real now.
  • Dunes at Sossusvlei are the highest sand dunes in Namibia - a couple of hundred meters tall. They are a must to see.
  • Quiver Tree Forest is a forest of around 250 'quiver trees'.
