Hille will return to Finland at the end of the week. We’re so sorry to see her leave, as she’s been a good friend to all of us these past 6 months.
We’ve spent the last couple of afternoons and evenings at Seija’s house, making decoupage ostrich eggs with Hille. We bought the eggs on our trip to west at Easter-time, and we finally got round to making something of them.
The decorated eggs are quite a big thing here, fetching up to R400-450 in the markets and shops.
