Autumn's in the air

Autumn is in the air.

I'm feeling the chill in my bones. Or more precisely in my fingers, toes and nose, which are all cold, thanks to my thin blood vessels.

Gone are the sunny days when it took clothes less time to dry, than it took the next load to go through the quick-wash cycle in the machine.

Joyce washed a load on Friday, and on Sunday they were still wet. We hung the clothes on the security bars on the windows.
