In da house

The house is quiet now that the workmen have stopped working - mostly. They have a slow pace now that they should finish up. The weren't here all last week.

They were supposed to finish in mid-October, but it's mid Feb and we don't even have the planning permission yet. We might get it soon, though.

The roof is done, but some things need finishing touches: the windows need to be washed, the house needs to be washed from the outside, the lamps need to be replaced on both sides of the front door, only half of the dining room roof is painted. etc.

We have windows upstairs now. We got stained glass ones for India's room and for one of the windows in our bedroom. They look gorgeous.

Now we'll need to get the planning permission for the work that has been done, so we can apply for a planning permission for the work that needs to be done.
