On a brighter note: The long awaited summer started yesterday when India and Heikki took an afternoon dip in the pool. The water temperature had finally climbed up to 17oC and the day was sunny and warm (over 20oC).
Today the temperatures should hit 30oC. That is in sharp contrast to rain and cold weather Cap Town had in September. It was officially the wettest September 50 years.
